Praying that on this valentines day that we will remember and return to our first love, Jesus Christ. He pursues us relentlessly with a limitless love. May our affections be for Him, and may all our relationships be just a taste of the only true satisfaction that is found in the lover of our soul. Today you may be feeling lonely or hurst because of unfulfilled longings and the commercialism that pumps this day as a say of pseudo-love for the sake of profit. Do not let the worlds system mold your mind. It is a deception! Renew those thoughts with the truth that the God of the universe gave His life to show us what real love is and looks like. Then He daily with mercies anew with every rising of the sun pours out his grace and lovingkindess on ungrateful, slefish people who look to others and ourselves to fulfill that which only Christ was meant to fill. Let's lay down our lives today! Consider someone else's interest as more important than yourself today. Serve, so that people will give glory to God as we follow His example.
